xShots is a screen grabbing application for Windows systems
The main feature is that you can create as many shots as you want, save them and then run a scheduler that will take the shots you configured and save them on a folder you specify and also upload them to an FTP server, if you have configured it to do so.
That’s the basic idea, when you click the new shot button, a semitransparent window will be open, you can resize that window and place it by dragging it to any part of the screen you want to be saved as an image, then click save and your new configured shot will added to the list, a dialog allows you to set some options for each shot or to use a default set of options.
The application is still on development and what is currently available can only be described as a demo, i will be updating this page as new versions are released, eventually this application will be moved to its own site, but since this is still a work in progress, i am placing it here on my development blog.
For this application i am using my own home grown skin and UI effects library, a win32 static library which is another one of my personal projects.
